Groundstone is looking for an experienced Barista / Front of House team member to join our team.

We're a busy daytime café in the heart of Orange and are looking for someone who is friendly, reliable and confident working in a fast-paced environment. You'll be working across both coffee and general front-of-house service, so we're after someone who is happy to jump in wherever needed and work as part of the wider team.

This is a casual position with weekday and weekend shifts available, so we're looking for someone with flexibility across both.

About the role

Groundstone is looking for an experienced Barista / Front of House team member to join our team.

We're a busy daytime café in the heart of Orange and are looking for someone who is friendly, reliable and confident working in a fast-paced environment. You'll be working across both coffee and general front-of-house service, so we're after someone who is happy to jump in wherever needed and work as part of the wider team.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Making consistently great coffee and other hot and cold drinks
n
- Taking orders and looking after our customers
n
- Using our POS system and processing payments
n
- Running food, clearing tables and keeping the floor moving during service
n
- Keeping the coffee station, counter and front-of-house areas clean, stocked and organised
n
- Opening and closing duties where required
n




- Restocking and keeping on top of supplies throughout the day
n
- Working closely with the kitchen to keep service running smoothly
n
- Following food safety and hygiene requirements
n
- Pitching in with the rest of the team – we're a café, so everyone helps where they can!
n

What we're looking for

n

Ideally, you'll have:

n

n
- Previous barista and café experience
n
- Confidence working on a coffee machine during busy service
n
- A friendly and natural approach to customer service
n
- The ability to work quickly while still paying attention to the details
n
- Reliability and positive communication
n
- The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
n
- A willingness to learn and take initiative
n
- Availability across weekdays and weekends
n

n

We're less concerned about formal barista qualifications and more interested in your practical experience, attitude and how you work as part of a team.
