Victory Minerals Pty Ltd is a private, well-funded company that acquired the world renown Ballarat Gold mine in 2024 and has since invested approximately $125m into capital and growth of the project, significantly improving development and production at the same time. Mining is within what was historically the third highest Gold producing area in Australia (up until 1990) and consistently delivers approximately 30,000 to 40,000 ounces per annum with increased exploration rapidly growing potential for up to 60,000 to 80,000 ounces per annum.

The Mine is situated in the picturesque and bustling regional city of Ballarat. As one of Victoria's largest and most rapidly developing cities, Ballarat offers a family-friendly lifestyle, excellent schooling alongside the benefit of having Melbourne (one of World's most vibrant capital cities) just over an hour away.

Victory Minerals Pty Ltd is currently seeking experienced, team-oriented and motivated individuals to join our Mining team at the Ballarat Mine Site. Reporting to the Underground Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a range of underground mining vehicles and equipment. In this role, you will play a critical part in achieving daily and monthly targets while ensuring safety, productivity, positivity and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The company rewards operators with a monthly bonus for achievement of these targets via an Employee Incentive Scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely and productively operate underground mining equipment and vehicles.
n
- Conduct pre-start inspections and operate machinery to ensure maximum availability and minimal damage.
n
- Follow all site safety procedures, standards, and regulations.
n
- Strive to achieve and improve safety, production and development across the mine.
n
- Communicate effectively and positively with supervisors and team members.
n
- Identify and report hazards, incidents, and equipment faults.
n
- Maintain a clean and safe work setting.
n

To be successful in this role you will meet the following criteria:

Mandatory

- Australian Driver's Licence
n
- Proven ability to maintain safe work practices while balancing multiple priorities and contributing positively to team performance.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of the organisation.

- Self-motivated and capable of working independently while maintaining a strong commitment to teamwork and shared out outcomes.

- Previous experience in role being applied for.

- Demonstrated experience in underground mining operations.

- Current Explosives (Black ticket) license for Charge-up Operators or adequate experience to obtain one

Hours and Rate:

n

All positions are offered on a permanent full-time basis and operate on a crew roster. Remuneration will be commensurate with the role and the successful candidate's skills and experience.

Roster:

n

7/7 Roster, rotating days & nights, 12-hour shifts

n
