Based in Thomastown, this is an opportunity to join an experienced Quality team within a stable, established manufacturing environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1–3 yearsexperience in quality within automotive, engineering or a similar manufacturing environment who wants to continue developing their career.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct product and process quality inspections and audits
- Perform routine process and 6S audits
- Monitor and follow up corrective actions
- Coordinate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
- Maintain controlled documents, procedures, work instructions and quality records
- Monitor product quality trends and prepare quality reports
- Support internal, customer and certification audits
- Assist with calibration records and inspection equipment control
- Assist with Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) activities when required
ABOUT YOU:
Ideally, you will have:
- 1–3 years’ experience in a quality role within automotive, engineering or a similar manufacturing environment
- A Certificate IV, Diploma or tertiary qualification in Quality, Manufacturing,
Engineering or a related discipline, or currently be studying towards one
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
- Exposure to IATF 16949 would be highly regarded
- Experience with document control and quality record management
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- A practical, positive attitude and willingness to learn
- An interest in continuous improvement and developing your quality career
WHAT’S ON OFFER:
- $75,000 – $80,000 + super, depending on experience
