About the Role

n

As a result of continued growth in our project pipeline across a range of sectors, we are seeking a full-time Senior to Associate Environmental Consultant/Engineer with experience in contaminated land assessment and remediation, geochemistry and/or hydrogeology.

n

This role is for someone who enjoys getting into the detail of complex sites, understanding the problem,



and helping clients move from investigation through to practical site-based solutions. Expertise in a relevant consulting body is critical, along with having undertaken the typical range of project work types and assessments within a consulting environment to a high technical level.

Project types will be broad and across many sectors, such as: Mining and Resources, Oil and Gas, Renewables and Energy, Aviation, Defence, Government, Construction, and Miscellaneous brownfield developments.

About You

n

Lead and manage projects from start to finish in a collaborative manner

Develop practical, workable solutions to environmental risks and impacts

n

Interpret and apply environmental legislation and policy in technical reporting

n

Share knowledge and work on a diverse range of projects

Collaborate with a supportive team and mentor others

Communicate confidently with clients and stakeholders

n

Undertake field work as required

n

To be successful, you will bring:

n

A degree in science (geology, chemistry, environmental science or similar) or engineering (environmental or chemical engineering)

n

8–15 years of relevant consultancy or industry experience

n





Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills

n

Confidence interpreting and applying relevant legislation, regulations and guidelines

n

Commitment to health, safety, environment and quality

n

The willingness and ability to undertake field work

n

A current Australian driver's licence and ability to travel if required

n

Australian citizenship, permanent residency or a visa allowing full working rights for at least two years

n

Willingness to work towards chartered or certified status and a member of a related professional body

n
