About the role

n

We're a warm, easygoing family in Thornbury looking for an experienced nanny to join us on an ongoing basis, two days a week. You'll take the lead on care for our 3-year-old and soon-to-be 2-year-old, giving them a fun, consistent routine while we're at work. This is a genuinely lovely gig for someone who loves toddlers and wants a secure, long-term arrangement. During kinder term holidays there's the option to pick up extra paid days if you'd like more hours.

Hours:

n

8:00am – 6:30pm, two days per week (21 hours total) — Mondays & Tuesdays, plus optional additional days during kinder term holidays

Key responsibilities

n

n




- Run morning and afternoon routines for a 3-year-old and 2-year-old
n
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
n
- Lead age-appropriate, interest-led play and activities
n
- Take the kids on local outings - parks, library, playgroups
n
- Manage nap and quiet rest time
n
- Handle light child-related household duties (tidying, laundry, meal prep)
n

Skills & experience

n

- Hands-on experience with toddlers/young children (essential)
n
- Current First Aid Certificate, Working with Children Check, and police check (essential)
n
- Warm, patient, and playful with young kids
n
- Reliable, organised, and proactive
n
- References from similar roles
n
- Driver's licence and car (preferred)
