Job Description

YH Support is seeking Female Disability Support Workers to support participants with community access to join our team in Lurnea, NSW and surrounding areas. This is a casual role that will involve providing compassionate and high-quality care to our clients with disabilities. You will work closely with our clients to assist them with daily living activities and support their independence and wellbeing.

Shifts to cover:

n

Mon to Fri - 12pm to 2pm & 4pm to 6pm

n

Sat & Sun - 12pm to 2pm

n

What you'll be doing

n

Assisting clients with personal care, such as showering, dressing, and grooming

n

Helping clients with household tasks, including meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry

n

Accompanying and supporting clients in the community, such as during social outings or appointments

n

Providing emotional support and engaging clients in meaningful activities

n

Documenting client progress and communicating with the broader care team

n

Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and safety protocols

n

What we're looking for

n

Certificate III or IV in Disability or Aged Care, or equivalent relevant experience

n

Experience in providing person-centred support to individuals with disabilities

n





Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients

n

Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others

n

Reliable, flexible, and able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays

n

A current driver's license and access to reliable transport
