Qualifications & experience

n

We are looking for an Electrician, Electrical Fitter or Trade Assistant to be involved in the construction & manufacturing of our custom switchboard projects, based out of our Pakenham depot.

n

Driver's license and own vehicle preferred

n

Hold a White Card

n

Local to the area would be preferred

n

Experience with interpreting & designing electrical schematics

n

Knowledge of electrical standards & regulations

n

Wiring and/or busbar experience highly preferred

n

A strong focus on neatness and accuracy

n

Ability to work unsupervised and be a team player when met with tight deadlines

n





Hold an A-Grad Electrical qualification OR

n

Hold an Electrical Fitter's qualification OR

n

Have years of experience as a Trade Assistant in switchboard manufacturing

n

Tasks & responsibilities

n

Assist other qualified electricians / fitters and focus on working as a team.

n

Assist apprentices and help them to learn and develop trade skills.

n

Install, repair, and manufacture various electrical wiring systems within electrical switchboards.

n

Operate specialist machinery specific to building/manufacturing switchboards.

n

Follow all OHS safety codes and building regulations

n

Prepare and clean work areas

n

Build and develop skills in reading & writing electrical diagrams and schematics.
