Great opportunity to join our supportive patient services team in a leading cardiovascular group based in Chatswood.

About The Role:
n
We are currently lookingfor an experienced medical receptionist to join our patient services team at Chatswood Heart. This role works collaboratively as a member of our support team to provide a positive patient service experience for patients and their families.
n
Responsibilities include;
n
n
- Supporting all patient services provided to patients
n
- Scheduling patient appointments and managing healthcare professional's schedules
n
- Providing a high level of administrative and reception support
n
- Maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness and organisation of the clinic
n
- Following up on reports and correspondence from external providers such as imaging and pathology results
n
- Completing billing for all patient services undertaken in the clinic and liaising with various health providers and Medicare
n
- Liaising with hospitals and other Medical Practitioners including co-ordinating patient hospital bookings and procedures
n
n
About you :
n
You will be an enthusiastic and qualified individual who enjoys interacting with patients and providing excellent customer service, as well as have;
n
n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
n
- Strong organisational and time management skills,
with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads;
n
- Proven experience working effectively both independently and in a team environment, a natural collaborator;
n
- A positive 'can-do' attitude and approach;
n
- Ability to deal tactfully in all fast paced interactions, demonstrating empathy and patience even whilst under pressure;
n
- Strong computer skills; experience using GENTU or similar practice management software
n
- Previous customer service experience is essential;
n
- Experience in healthcare is essential
n
- Must be available to work between 7:30am and 6:30pm, and Saturdays
n
