A Junior YouTube Strategist & Producer role focused on researching, developing and producing high-performing YouTube content.

n

You will help generate ideas, research trends and competitors, improve titles, thumbnails and hooks, analyse video performance, and support videos from concept through to publication.

n

We're an established educational YouTube channel. You'll work directly with the creator and be part of a small fun team, and you'll work from our creative studio in Fitzroy.

n

Note: This is not a filming or video editing role.

Key responsibilities

n

- Research YouTube trends, competitors and audience interests
n
- Generate and develop solid video ideas
n
- Help improve titles, thumbnails, hooks and video concepts
n
- Review scripts and edits with a focus on storytelling and retention
n
- Analyse YouTube performance and identify what worked and what did not
n
- Brief and coordinate editors,



thumbnail designers and other creatives
n
- Help manage videos from idea through to publication
n

About you

n

- Strong understanding of YouTube and online content
n
- Good creative and research instincts
n
- Interest in YouTube strategy, analytics and audience behaviour
n
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
n
- Willingness to learn quickly and take ownership
n
- Professional YouTube experience is helpful but not essential. Personal projects, freelance work or a strong demonstrated understanding of YouTube strategy are also relevant.

- Experience with YouTube Studio
n
- Basic video editing knowledge
n
- Experience with educational, technology or business content
n
