The Company is seeking a Head of Education and Training to take on a key leadership role in the national education strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of high-quality, contemporary, and accessible education programs, with a focus on expanding access to dynamic resuscitation education and strengthening instructor capability. This critical position involves overseeing the Council's education functions, driving program quality, and continuous improvement, and ensuring effective service delivery. The role also includes building solid relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, supporting clear communication, and representing the Council across relevant sector forums.Applicants for the Head of Education and Training role at the company should have extensive senior clinical experience and a proven track record in designing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating education programs for health professionals.



The ideal candidate will be an experienced and collaborative leader, capable of thinking strategically, leading change, and building capability across a diverse stakeholder environment. Strong communication, relationship management, and influencing skills are essential, as is the ability to exercise sound judgment, work autonomously, and deliver priorities effectively. A relevant clinical qualification and current AHPRA registration are required, with a postgraduate qualification in education or a related field, preferably at the master’s level, being highly regarded.
