New Lambton District OOSH is a highly respected, community-based not-for-profit Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service, governed by a parent-led Management Committee. We are a true 'people over profit' organisation and pride ourselves on creating a welcoming, supportive and family-focused environment.

Located on the grounds of New Lambton South Public School, our dedicated service provides safe, professional and engaging care for children aged 5–12 years, servicing two local schools.

n

About the Role

n

As OOSH Coordinator, you will be the centre Nominated Supervisor and lead the values, culture and day-to-day operation of our service.

n

You will help create a positive, inclusive and enriching environment for children, educators and families while supporting the team to deliver high-quality care and experiences.

n

Reporting directly to the parent-led Management Committee, the Co-ordinator ensures the service meets all regulatory requirements under the National Quality Framework (NQF)

n

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children, leads with compassion and positivity, and can build strong and respectful relationships with children, families and educators.

n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will:

n





Share the values of the centre and thrive in leading a team that delivers a family-focused service

n

Hold anEarly Childhood Education and Care qualification or equivalent.

n

Have proven experience working in OSHC/OOSH.

n

Demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills.

n

Be reliable, organised, enthusiastic and approachable.

n

Have completedChild Protection Training.

n

Hold currentFirst Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Managementcertificates.

n

Hold a validNSW Working with Children Check (WWCC), or willing to obtain.

n

Have completed the mandatory national child safety training viaGECCKO.

n

Have a genuine passion for supporting children and creating positive experiences.

n

As our Coordinator, you will:

n

Create a safe and inclusive environmentwhere every child and educator feels welcome, supported and respected.

n

Lead and inspire the teamthrough positive role modelling, guidance and encouragement.

n

Supervise and mentor educators, supporting them to build confidence and capability in their daily practice.

n

Develop positive relationships with children and families, ensuring their needs and wellbeing remain a priority.

n

Build strong community connectionswith families, schools and key community stakeholders.

n

Support the delivery of engaging, meaningful and age-appropriate experiences for children.

n

Contribute to maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and professional practice.

n

Help foster a positive workplace culture where educators feel valued and supported.
