Job Description

As an integral part of our Day Shift - Maintenance crew at our Primary manufacturing plant based in Keysborough, you will provide operational support, perform planned preventative maintenance and troubleshooting that improves safety, reliability and functionality of the plant.

A typical shift will see you:

n

n
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on plant equipment and machineryas allocated
n
- Fault-find and repair mechanical issues across automated equipment including Laser and Brake Press, Robotics, CNC driven machinery
n
- Support operations teams to maintain uptime and reliability
n
- Assist with breakdown response and corrective maintenance when required
n
- Pro-actively contribute to safety and continuous improvement initiatives
n
- Production maintenance, fabrication, repair and close out of MEX requests
n

What will get you to the next stage:

n

n
- Australian recognised Trade qualification (Mechanical Fitter) or related discipline
n
- Demonstrated working background as Maintenance Fitter in fast paced manufacturing environment (Heavy Industrial/ Steel fabrication or Automotive)
n
- All in the attitude - open to learning and being a contributing team member
n
- Experience in Fault finding on hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems
n




- Current and Valid Driver's Licenses and Scissor lift or boom license
n
- Working experience in Welding and minor steel fabrication (MIG/TIG and/or ARC)
n
- Experience in lean manufacturing is beneficial, particularly problem-solving methodologies.
n
- Computer literate & ability to navigate your way around our preventative maintenance program, MEX
n
- Demonstrated commitment and understanding of OHS practices
n
- Sound interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships, communicate and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders
n
- Experience with a CMMS would be an advantage (Mex preferred)
n

- Confined Space and Working at Heights Ticket
n
- Current and Valid LF Forklift license
n
- E-coat and Powder coat paint systems experience
n
- Laser and Press brake knowledge (LVD & Trumpf),
n
- Motorman and ABB Robotics experience
n
- First Aid Certificate would be advantageous or ability toacquire.
