Warehouse and Manufacturing/Service Technician

This is a hands-on and diverse role involving production, machinery operation, mechanical maintenance and repairs, coffee equipment servicing, and general factory and warehouse duties.

Key responsibilities

- Operate roasting, grinding, packing and other production equipment as required, ensuring machinery is operated safely and efficiently
n
- Carry out preventative maintenance, fault finding, repairs and adjustments to factory machinery and equipment to minimise downtime
n
- Service, diagnose and repair commercial coffee machines, grinders and associated equipment in the workshop and, when required, at customer sites
n
- Respond promptly to machinery breakdowns, identify faults and undertake repairs to return equipment to operation as quickly and safely as possible
n
- Assist in developing and following scheduled preventative maintenance programs for roasting, packaging and general factory equipment
n




- Work as part of the production team as required, including operating machinery, monitoring production, assisting with changeovers and helping ensure production requirements are met
n
- Assist with the installation, commissioning, modification and improvement of factory machinery, coffee equipment and related systems
n
- Perform general mechanical, workshop, warehouse and factory duties as reasonably required, including maintaining tools, equipment and work areas in a clean and organised condition
n
- Comply with all workplace health and safety, food safety, hygiene and company policies and procedures, and immediately report any equipment or workplace safety concerns
n
- Undertake other reasonable duties within your skills and capabilities as directed by management
