We're continuing to grow, and we don't see that slowing down. To keep pace, we're looking for a qualified Automotive Technician to join the Service team at Mornington Toyota.

About the role

n

As a Technician, you'll carry out vehicle repairs and maintenance to manufacturer, dealership and customer standards, quality work, done right and on time. Day to day, you will:

- Complete repairs and servicing in line with the repair order and Toyota, dealership and customer requirements and let the Workshop Controller know promptly if anything can't be done
n
- Diagnose faults and call on the Workshop Controller for support when needed
n
- Complete all paperwork to dealership standards, including a clear description of the work carried out on each repair order
n
- Maintain a sound working knowledge of our products and services
n




- Take care of all workshop tools and equipment, returning them to their correct place after use
n
- Keep a complete and up-to-date personal tool kit
n
- Return every vehicle clean and ready for the customer
n
- Used-car reconditioning experience and a Roadworthy (RWC) Licence would be a distinct advantage.

What you'll bring

- Formal qualifications in motor mechanics
n
- A full Victorian driver's licence (manual)
n
- A Roadworthy Certificate (RWC) Licence — or the willingness to obtain one
n
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to read, understand and follow instructions
n
- A good level of physical fitness
