What would you be doing?

As our Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in the day-to-day general accounting tasks, month-end close duties, account reconciliations and monthly and annual financial statements preparation.

Your days will be filled with:

- Coordinating all month-end timelines ensuring our final month-end reporting is completed within expected time frames across the company.
- Owning the month-end balance sheet reconciliations, including coordinating timelines to ensure reporting is completed on time, reviewing overhead costs and completing intercompany reconciliations.
- Maintaining the fixed asset register with the assistance of the Assistant Accountant.
- Maintaining control of the general ledger, chart of accounts and master data
- Preparing both the monthly IAS/BAS all entities and the annual FBT return
- Entering and coordinating all monthly payroll transactions and accruals
- Working with managers to prepare and monitor forecasts, monitor costs and identify and risks or opportunities
- Contribute to driving continuous improvements within the Finance team and across the business
- Liaising directly with external stakeholders; auditors, finance institutions and regulatory bodies

About you!

You will have proven experience in a similar Financial Accountant role.



Whilst in an ideal world you will have experience in the manufacturing sector, what’s more important is that you have had some industry experience. You will also hold a special combo of the right skills, experience, and attitude:

- You have a CPA/CA qualification as it will ensure you have all the knowledge and skills to ace your role
- You’re savvy with Excel and can pick up new systems easily. Whilst it’s preferred that you have experience with SAP B1, we can be adaptable on this so long as you’re a quick learner.
- You have master-level interpersonal skills, are known for getting things done and can work effectively across a broad range of stakeholders
- You’re a people person who’ll thrive on being part of a team who are passionate about achieving results
- Your work style is like cross‑fit meets yoga. By this we mean you’re energetic, passionate, positive and thrive in a hard‑working, fast‑paced team, yet you’re also highly organised, flexible and can keep calm under pressure
- You don’t mind getting your hands dirty. You are ready to dive in headfirst and happy to roll up your sleeves, supporting the team as well as taking on ownership of and pride in your own projects
