Maintenance Electrician - Afternoon shift

Australian Glass Group (AGG) is a leading national glass processing manufacturer with sites in Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania.

n

We are currently looking to engage an afternoon-shift maintenance electrician with manufacturing experience, strong fault-finding skills, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to continuous improvement to join our maintenance team based in Knoxfield.

About the role:

n

n
- Perform scheduled inspections and condition assessments on machines
n
- Effectively carry out preventative maintenance, identify, solve and remedy breakdown issues
n
- Maintain production plant; working on glass processing equipment.
n
- Work together with line team to maximise machine efficiency
n
- Work with operations team to communicate and provide details of machine status.
n

About you:

n

n




- Maintenance Electrician - trade qualification essential, ideally dual trade.
n
- Sound breakdown and planned maintenance electrical knowledge
n
- Excellent safety focus with a strong understanding of safe work practices
n
- Display exceptional problem-solving skills
n
- Able to work unsupervised
n
- Have a proactive approach, strong work ethic and be able to contribute to the team
n
