Chief Operating Officer | Life Sciences Consulting

The COO will translate strategy into execution, ensuring PharmOut continues to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients while maintaining a highly engaged, high-performing and values-driven workforce.

You will provide leadership across our architectural, engineering and GMP consulting, project delivery and corporate support functions, partnering closely with service line leaders to improve efficiency, profitability, capability development and customer experience.

The successful candidate will need a high level of technical understanding of manufacturing and marketing authorisation of devices and pharmaceuticals.

Key responsibilities

n

Work with the Managing Director and Executive Team to execute PharmOut's strategic plan

n

Identify opportunities for sustainable growth, operational improvement and organisational development

n

Drive accountability, performance and execution across all business units

n

Optimise utilisation, project delivery performance and profitability

n

Develop scalable systems, processes and governance structures that support growth

n





Monitor key business metrics and provide insight-driven recommendations

n

Foster a high-performance culture aligned with PharmOut's values

n

About you

n

Executive leadership experience as a COO, General Manager, Operations Director or equivalent

n

Demonstrated success leading multi-disciplinary technical professional services or consulting teams

n

Robust financial management and commercial decision-making capability

n

Experience building scalable operational systems and improving organisational performance

n

Outstanding stakeholder engagement and communication skills

n

Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, engineering, regulatory, healthcare or other regulated industries

n

Critical requirement will be a track record of delivering technical projects (manufacturing, engineering or architecture, within a project-based consulting business
