About The Role

n

Concord Repatriation General Hospital has a well-earned reputation for excellence in healthcare for over 70 years. Building on its proud heritage of caring for the Veteran community, the hospital now services the local communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and beyond.

n

The aim of this position is to ensure the safety and security of staff, patients, visitors and property on the hospital campus in a positive, attentive and prompt manner.

n

The role is primarily based at Concord Repatriation General Hospital, while also providing security support to the Mental Health Service.

Ideal Candidate

n

n
- Licenced according to the Security Industry Act 1997 – Class 1 A and current Senior First Aid Certificate.
n
- Customer service skills with a high degree of personal integrity and motivation.
n
- Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision and complete all patrols and other security-related duties during a shift.
n
- Demonstrated experience and a sound understanding of alarm systems, access control systems, CCTV,



and Fire Indication Panels (FIP).
n
- Proven experience in communicating and responding to challenging and aggressive situations, including interactions with distressed persons, while demonstrating empathy, integrity, and resilience in a variety of circumstances.
n
- Ability to perform 12 hour shift work on a 24/7 rotating roster.
n
- A current NSW Driver's Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
n
