We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Sydney team.

This is a senior position for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of a substantial portfolio of awarded projects and driving them from handover through to successful completion.

You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, to the required quality and, importantly, within the commercial margins established at the point of sale.

The role

n

You will manage a substantial portfolio of commercial signage projects, coordinating all aspects of delivery from project handover through to installation and completion.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Taking ownership of awarded projects and managing them through the full delivery process
n
- Managing multiple projects concurrently, with responsibility for programme, quality, cost and delivery
n
- Maintaining project margins and identifying commercial risks before they impact the business
n
- Managing variations, scope changes, procurement and project costs
n
- Building solid working relationships with builders, clients, architects and consultants
n




- Coordinating internal design, production, procurement and installation teams
n
- Reviewing project programmes and ensuring key milestones are achieved
n
- Attending site meetings and site inspections where required
n
- Identifying issues early and taking ownership of resolving them
n
- Ensuring projects are delivered to the standard expected by Apex and our clients
n

About you

n

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who is commercially minded and understands that successful project delivery is about more than simply getting the job completed.

n

You will ideally have:

n

n
- Solid experience managing commercial signage, construction, fitout or a related industry
n
- A proven ability to manage a substantial number of live projects simultaneously
n
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of project margins and costs
n
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
n
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
n
- The ability to confidently deal with builders, clients, suppliers and subcontractors
n
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving project issues
n
- The confidence to take ownership and make decisions
n
- A high level of attention to detail and accountability
n

n

Signage experience is preferred , however we are open to experienced Project Managers from related construction and fitout industries who understand complex project delivery.

The role is primarily based in our Sydney office, with regular site visits across Sydney. There is some flexibility to work from home when required, however this is not a predominantly remote position.
