n Marathon Electric is a leading manufacturer and supplier of electric motors and industrial solutions across Australia and New Zealand. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable & Receivable Coordinator to join our Finance team on a 12-month maximum term contract.

About the Role
n Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will manage accounts payable and receivable activities across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring accurate and timely financial processing.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Accounts Receivable (Australia & Current Zealand)
n
n
- Manage customer accounts and allocate incoming payments.
n
- Process daily banking transactions.
n
- Perform credit risk assessments and monitor customer accounts.
n
- Investigate and resolve customer claims and account discrepancies.
n
- Collect overdue accounts and maintain customer relationships.
n
- Reconcile customer statements and billing records.
n
- Support business units with credit-related enquiries and claims resolution.
n
n
Accounts Payable (New Zealand)
n
n
- Process and verify supplier invoices for the New Zealand business.
n
- Code invoices accurately to general ledger accounts and cost centres.
n
- Prepare and process supplier payment runs.
n
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
n
- Maintain vendor master data, banking details and payment terms.
n
- Process employee expense claims and corporate credit card reconciliations.
n
- Support month-end activities, reporting and audit requirements.
n
- Assist with Australian accounts payable activities as required
n

About You
n
n
- Demonstrated experience in both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
n
- Strong Excel and accounting skills.
n
- Knowledge of Australian and New Zealand GST requirements.
n
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
n
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
n
