A federal government agency is seeking an experienced Online Safety Project Officer to support an initiative across Southeast Asia and the Pacific.

n

This part-time role is offered at 22.5 hours per week, worked across three days, with a maximum of 7.5 hours per day.

- An active Baseline security clearance
n
- Previous Australian Federal Government experience
n
- Strong project coordination and organisational skills
n
- Experience in monitoring, evaluation and learning
n
- Strong research and analytical capabilities
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
- Experience engaging with diverse communities and international stakeholders
n
- The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes
n

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Conduct research and develop a baseline study of the online safety landscape across Southeast Asia and the Pacific
n
- Develop monitoring, evaluation and learning plans and supporting tools
n
- Track project activities, deliverables, risks and changes
n




- Draft progress reports, briefings, agendas and talking points
n
- Coordinate consultations, capacity-building workshops and related logistics
n
- Co-design accessible and culturally appropriate educational resources
n
- Build cooperative relationships with internal teams, government agencies and international stakeholders
n
- Support the delivery of project activities and objectives
n

Highly regarded

n

n
- Experience engaging with stakeholders across the Asia-Pacific region
n
- Knowledge of online safety or technology-facilitated harm
n
- Experience developing and delivering workshops or community resources
n
- A relevant qualification in international development, international relations, social sciences or a related discipline
n
- A current Working with Children Check
n

The role may involve international travel and exposure to sensitive subject matter relating to online harm.

n

Please note: An active Baseline security clearance and previous Australian Federal Government experience are mandatory.
