About the role

n

We are seeking an experienced Painter/Blaster to join our ISO 9001-accredited manufacturing facility based in Cardiff. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this hands‐on role involves surface preparation, blasting and industrial coating of components to meet quality, safety and production standards. You'll work as part of a supportive workshop team in a structured environment with consistent workflows and a strong focus on quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Operate both abrasive blasting and coating equipment in Imatech's workshop or on site as required
n
- Performing quality inspections to ensure customer specifications are met
n
- Complete and fill out all required QA Documentation to company requirement
n
- Operate machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators
n
- Read gauges and charts, and record data obtained
n
- Mix resins according to specified procedures and formulas
n

Skills & Experience

n

n




- Minimum 2years' experience in industrial painting and blasting (desirable)
n
- Cert III Blasting and Painting (desirable)
n
- Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously
n
- Strong commitment to delivering high quality work to meet customer requirements
n
- Commitment to meet all companyand clientWHS responsibilities
n
- Display a positive and enthusiastic work ethic, be a proactive team member who is willing to pitch in and get the job done
