About the Role

n

As the Vehicle Estimator, you will play a key role in the repair process, assessing vehicle damage, preparing accurate quotes, liaising with insurersand ensuring repairs are commercially and operationally effective from start to finish.

n

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy workshop setting, has solid industry knowledgeand takes pride in delivering quality outcomes for both customers and the business.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Assess damaged vehicles both in-person and via photos/images
n
- Prepare accurate repair estimates and determine appropriate repair methods
n
- Liaise with insurance assessors and manage approvals throughout the process
n
- Ensure labour times, repair costsand parts requirements are commercially viable
n
- Order parts and coordinate approved job bookingsReview active repairs for any labour or parts variations
n
- Maintain detailed and accurate records within internal systems
n
- Communicate effectively with customers, insurers, suppliersand workshop teams
n

About You

n





To succeed in this role, you will bring strong estimating experience along with the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.

n

You will ideally have:

n

n
- Previous experience as an Automotive or Vehicle Estimator / aqualified Panel Beater seeking a change in their career
n
- Strong knowledge of repair methods, vehicle partsand labour costing
n
- Experience working with insurers and repair approvals
n
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
n
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
n
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
n
- A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to quality outcomes
n
