About The Role:
n
We are looking toemployan efficientand motivated truck driver, you will be responsible for the cartage of quarry material to and from construction sites for our plumbing team.
n
The truck and trailer you will be driving is a well maintained Western Star 4800 Road Ranger gearbox.
n
Skills and experience:
n
n
- Must hold a HC license.
n
- Truck and dog experience essential.
n
- Understanding of safe work methods/procedures around deep trenching within construction site.
n
- 1 year previous experience in similar role essential.
n
- Located western suburbs preferred - Truck located in Ravenhall.
n
n
Duties and Responsibilities:
n
n
- Be accountable for site related directions given.
n
- Maintain your truck to high standard.
n
n
About You:
n
n
- Suitable technical skills with solid mechanical hands-on experience
n
- Experience in quarry in/out bound procedures.
n
- Experience in the civil drainage sectors advantageous
n
- Exceptional communication skills
n
- OH&S; Construction White Card
n
- Reliable transport
n
- Excellent work ethic and solid commitment to safety
n
