The Role:

n

Based at our Wetherill Park facility, this hands-on Fitter role will see you working as part of our manufacturing and assembly team.

n

You'll assembly and fit hydraulic cylinders and other mining components, working from drawings and specifications to make sure every job is completed safely and to a high standard.

n

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, enjoys problem-solving, knows their way around a workshop and enjoys being part of a team producing quality Australian-made products.

Key responsibilities include:

n

- - Assemble and fit hydraulic cylinders and other mining components.
n
- - Read and work from engineering drawings, specifications and job requirements.
n
- - Inspect and check your work throughout the assembly process to make sure components meet our quality standards.
n
- - Use workshop equipment and tools including hydraulic presses, torque wrenches, power tools and hand tools.
n
- - Identify and raise any faults, damaged components or issues that could affect the finished product.
n
- - Complete job sheets,



quality checks and other required production records.
n
- - Keep your work area, tools and equipment safe, clean and ready for use.
n
- - Work safely and look out for the people around you.
n
- - Work with your supervisor and teammates to keep jobs moving and meet production requirements.
n
- - Speak up when you see a better, safer or more efficient way of doing something.
n

We're looking for someone with:

n

n
- - Fitting, mechanical assembly or similar hands-on workshop experience
n
- - The ability to read and interpret engineering or workshop drawings.
n
- - Experience using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment.
n
- - Experience with heavy industrial, mining or hydraulic components would be highly regarded.
n
- - Good mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills.
n
- - Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work.
n
- - A reliable approach to work and a willingness to pitch in when needed.
n
- - The ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
n
- - The physical capability to safely undertake the hands-on requirements of the role.
