Drake Trades and Technical, a leader in recruitment for skilled trades, is thrilled to present an outstanding opportunity for a Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our client, a leading provider of environmental solutions supporting the steel and metal industry.

- $54/Hr + 14.5% Super
n
- Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm, with plenty of overtime available
n
- RDOs on offer, which you can choose to take or bank

On top of the base rate, you'll receive:

n

The Role

n

Working across a variety of heavy vehicles, loaders, excavators, trucks and fixed plant, you'll be responsible for keeping equipment secure, reliable and operational.

n

This will include servicing, preventative maintenance, repairs and fault finding across diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical systems. You'll also complete inspections, identify potential issues, maintain service records and work across both client and customer assets.

About You

n





You'll be a trade qualified Diesel Mechanic with proven experience working on heavy machinery and fixed plant.

n

You'll have strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical systems, with solid diagnostic and fault finding skills. Strong communication and a genuine commitment to safety are essential.

You must be willing to undergo a medical and Drug & Alcohol screening as part of the recruitment process.
