Cannington will provide you with valuable experience in all facets of a small companion veterinary practice, backed by a supportive, friendly team.
The Prospect: /n
We have an exciting chance for an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a LOCUM/casual basis . We are looking for someone that is equally comfortable on reception or in theatre, who loves what they do.
Required shifts are: /n
/n
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays – 8am - 6pm
/n
Fortnightly Saturdays – 9am - 2pm
/n
Responsibilities will include: /n
/n
Providing support to our veterinarians in all aspects of vet nursing
/n
Provision of high standard patient and customer care
/n
Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
/n
Assisting with reception and administration tasks as required
/n
To be successful for this position, you will have: /n
/n
Certificate IV qualified and registered Veterinary Nurse.
/n
Previous experience as a Vet Nurse, with knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures would prove beneficial.
/n
An ability to work well in a team and genuinely support the team
/n
Initiative and good time management skills.
/n
