In this role, you will plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate Physiotherapy services within the specialty area, utilising advanced clinical practice skills to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.

Key responsibilities
You will play a key role in promoting patient safety and quality improvement initiatives while working collaboratively with patients, families and healthcare specialists to achieve optimal health outcomes.
As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will provide clinical leadership and support to Physiotherapy and support staff, assisting with supervision, coordination of duties and performance management within the clinical area.




You will also contribute to service development and continuous improvement activities to ensure the delivery of secure, effective and evidence-based care.

What you need
The successful applicant will demonstrate advanced clinical expertise, solid leadership and communication skills, and a commitment to professional practice in accordance with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia Code of Conduct, Registration Standards, and South Metropolitan Health Service policies and guidelines.
Experience in hospital or community based allied health teams as a Senior Physiotherapist.
