About the role.
- Ensure all suppliers are assessed, rated and reviewed including suppliers of products, service suppliers and co-packers
- Ensure all supplier information is maintained including certificates
- Regular review of suppliers and conduct supplier audits
- Ensure new supplier documentation is provided and signed
- Ensure all certificates, COA's PIF's, product specs are provided by the supplier
- Ensure risk assessment for new suppliers and required documentation
- Provide performance reports, trends and progress update at meetings
- Provide technical support for Account Managers
- Investigate,
analyze customer complaints and respond to customer
- Raise and investigate non-conformances for customers and suppliers
- Conduct quality system audits.
About you.
- With a Food Science/Science degree
- Demonstrated experience with the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code, able to interpret and provide guidance on food regulations
- Demonstrated experience with food or pharmaceutical manufacturing quality assurance programs (HACCP, GMP, ISO9000, BRC)
- Experience in conducting quality audits and supplier continuous improvement programs desirable
- Able to interpret technical information and make sound judgements based on science
- Confident searching and interpreting regulatory requirements
- Advanced MS Office and PowerBI advantageous.
