Ammstar is an established independent Mercedes-Benz specialist with workshops in Moorabbin and Fairfield. We're looking for an experienced technician to join our Moorabbin team.

n

This role would suit someone who takes pride in diagnosing and repairing vehicles properly, has strong technical ability and enjoys working as part of a small, experienced team.

Mercedes-Benz Technician – Moorabbin

n

The Role

n

You'll be working primarily on Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicles, carrying out everything from routine servicing through to complex diagnostic and repair work.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Diagnosing, servicing and repairing Mercedes-Benz vehicles
n
- Carrying out complex mechanical and electrical diagnostic work
n
- Performing final testing and quality control
n
- Working closely with our service advisors on vehicle and workshop requirements
n
- Sharing your knowledge with other technicians and apprentices
n
- Assisting with workshop tooling, equipment and technical resources
n
- Keeping up to date with Mercedes-Benz technical information, systems and repair procedures
n

About You

n

Ideally, you'll have:

n

n
- Strong experience as an automotive technician, preferably with Mercedes-Benz or other European vehicles
n
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
n
- Experience with modern vehicle electrical and electronic systems
n
- Familiarity with Mercedes-Benz XENTRY/Star Diagnosis highly regarded
n




- A high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
n
- The ability to work well within a small, experienced team
n
- Good communication skills and a professional approach
n
- Mercedes-Benz factory training or other European manufacturer training is highly regarded
n
