SECTION WAITERS – GEMELLI ITALIAN BRISBANE

The Role

n

As a Section Waiter, you'll take ownership of your section and provide attentive, knowledgeable and professional service throughout each guest's experience.

n

You'll work closely with our kitchen, bar and wider front-of-house team to ensure smooth service while building genuine connections with our guests.

n

Your Key Responsibilities

n

- Confidently manage your own section during busy services.
n
- Deliver warm, attentive and professional food and beverage service.
n
- Build genuine rapport with guests and create memorable dining experiences.
n
- Develop strong knowledge of our Italian menu, wine and beverage offering.
n
- Guide guests through the menu and confidently provide recommendations.
n
- Work closely with the kitchen, bar and front-of-house team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
n
- Maintain high standards of presentation,



cleanliness and organisation.

- Consistently represent Gemelli's service standards and values.
n

About You

n

We're looking for people who genuinely enjoy hospitality and take pride in looking after their guests.

Ideally, you will have:

n

- Previous experience as a Section Waiter in a busy, quality restaurant environment.
n
- Confidence managing a section independently.
n
- Solid food and beverage knowledge.
n
- A warm, professional and guest-focused approach.
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n
- A positive attitude and strong team mentality.
n
- The ability to stay calm, organised and attentive during busy services.
n
- Availability across evenings and weekends.
n
- A current Queensland RSA Certificate.
n
- Full Australian working rights.
n
- You must currently be based in Australia to apply.
