Job Description

The Department of Communities and Justice is recruiting for Correctional Officers at the Broken Hill location. The role includes hands-on supervision of inmates across prisons and court cells, with training provided and a transparent path to a nationally recognised Certificate III in Correctional Practice.

You will receive a base salary plus allowances and penalty rates for eligible shifts. Applicants must meet eligibility criteria, including age 18+, Australian or NZ citizenship or permanent
