Blowbar & Co Salon is a brand-current, modern salon in the heart of vibrant Northcote, and we're looking for passionate, talented hair professionals to join our founding team.

This is an exciting opportunity to grow with a new salon, build your clientele, develop your skills and be part of creating something special from the beginning.

THE ROLE

n

We're looking for passionate hair professionals who love creating beautiful hair, connecting with clients and being part of a fun, positive and supportive team.

n

Hours will vary depending on each applicant, their experience, availability and role. We're happy to discuss flexible working arrangements with the right candidates.

n

Saturday availability is essential and Saturdays are a must.

n

We are also working towards opening Sundays and Mondays, with the goal of eventually trading 7 days a week.

n

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

n

n
- Creating beautiful cuts, colours, blow-outs and styles
n
- Creating gorgeous blow-dries, bouncy waves and curls
n
- Creating stunning colour and blonde transformations
n
- Working with extensions and specialised styling
n
- Providing personalised consultations and exceptional client experiences
n
- Recommending and retailing professional haircare products
n




- Keeping the salon clean, organised and looking amazing
n
- Keeping up with the latest trends, techniques and education
n
- Supporting your team and contributing to a positive salon culture
n

- Strong skills in colouring, blondes, styling and/or extensions
n
- A genuine passion for hair and creating beautiful transformations

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Professional presentation and confidence

- A willingness to learn, grow and develop your career
