About the Role

n

We're looking for an experienced Registered Nurse ready to take the next step into a Treatment Room Team Leader position at our busy Maroubra Medical Centre.

n

Combining hands‐on nursing with team leadership, this role will see you deliver high- quality clinical care while supporting the effective day‐to‐day operation of the treatment room. You'll work closely with the Practice Manager to coordinate staffing, support recruitment and help develop a capable, patient‐focused nursing team.

Previous leadership experience will be highly regarded; however, we're also open to experienced Registered Nurses who demonstrate strong leadership potential and are ready to grow.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Lead and support the day-to-day operation of the treatment room.
n
- Deliver clinical care, including vaccinations, wound management, health assessments, ECG monitoring and pathology collection.
n
- Triage patients and assist healthcare practitioners with procedures and treatments.
n
- Build trusted relationships with patients and help them feel comfortable throughout their care.
n
- Support the Practice Manager with rostering, recruitment and staff performance.
n
- Coach and guide treatment room employees to deliver high-quality patient care.
n
- Ensure clinical procedures and Standard Operating Procedures are understood and consistently followed.
n
- Maintain a safe, organised and fully equipped clinical workplace.
n




- Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses and the wider medical centre team.
n

About You

n

To succeed in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
n
- Previous experience in general practice, primary healthcare or an acute clinical setting.
n
- Leadership experience or the confidence and potential to step into a team leadership role.
n
- Strong clinical, organisational and decision‐making skills.
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
- A collaborative, supportive and patient‐focused leadership style.
n
- The ability to work independently and take initiative when required.
n
- Unrestricted Australian working rights.
