Brookfield Gardens is a family-owned and operated nursery looking for a passionate horticulturist to join our team. This role blends hands-on horticultural work with strong customer service—particularly on weekends, when we welcome our busiest flow of visitors.

Key responsibilities

- Assisting customers in selecting plants suited to their aesthetic preferences and environmental conditions
n
- Guiding customers through gardening, landscaping, and planting design ideas
n
- Identifying and diagnosing plant pests and diseases, and recommending appropriate treatments in a transparent, customer-friendly way
n
- Working in a team and independently, showing initiative and self-motivation
n

About you

- Qualified tradesperson with solid experience and passion for horticulture
n
- Demonstrated hands-on horticultural skills and willingness to work outdoors
n
- Confident, friendly customer service skills and genuine enjoyment in helping customers
n
- ChemCert certification advantageous
n
- Right to work in Australia
n
- Weekend availability essential
