Key responsibilities
In this position, you will deliver practical, social, and emotional support to young consumers by sharing your own recovery and healing experiences.
As a senior member of the team, you will also provide vital leadership and guidance to peer colleagues.
You will act as a trusted point of advice for managing complex consumer needs, applying advanced problem-solving skills and qualified judgment within relevant service frameworks.
What you need
Lived Experience: Personal lived or living experience of mental ill health, psychological distress, alcohol and other drug (AOD) use or dependence, and/or suicidality.
Peer Work Leadership: Demonstrated experience working as a Peer Worker within a mental health setting, including a background in providing mentoring, supervision, leadership, or practice development support to other lived experience staff.
