Occupational Therapist and Speech Pathologist Contractors

True Align is seeking qualified Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists to provide services to NDIS participants across Melbourne on a contractor basis. This role is suited to clinicians who are confident working independently and want the flexibility to manage their own availability and caseload while being part of a professional and supportive provider. You will be responsible for managing the clinical aspects of your allocated participants, including assessments, therapy, goal development, progress reviews and NDIS reporting. You will work collaboratively with participants, families, support coordinators and other members of the participant's care team to ensure supports are practical, person-centred and aligned with the participant's NDIS goals.

Key responsibilities

- Complete comprehensive assessments relevant to your discipline
n
- Develop and deliver individualised therapy and intervention
n
- Prepare explicit and professional NDIS reports and recommendations
n
- Complete progress reports, functional assessments and supporting documentation as required
n
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records
n
- Monitor participant progress and adjust therapy strategies where required
n
- Communicate with families, support coordinators and other treating professionals
n
- Participate in care team meetings where required
n




- Manage your allocated caseload and appointments
n
- Work in accordance with NDIS requirements, the NDIS Code of Conduct and relevant professional standards

About you

n

n
- Recognised Occupational Therapy qualification or Recognised Speech Pathology qualification
n
- Current AHPRA registration (Occupational Therapist) or relevant professional registration/membership or credentials (Speech Pathologist)
n
- Professional and reliable
n
- Confident communicating with participants and families
n
- Able to manage workload independently
n
- Solid in clinical documentation and report writing
n
- Organised and responsive
n
- Committed to participant choice and person-centred practice
n
- Comfortable working collaboratively with multidisciplinary care teams
n
- Must hold or be willing to obtain relevant NDIS worker screening, checks and insurances
n
