This is a wide-ranging all-round administration and accounts role covering everything involved in the administration of buying, trading and selling vehicles. You will take ownership of the day-to-day administration of the dealership, working closely with the team to ensure every vehicle transaction is processed accurately, efficiently and professionally.
Key responsibilities
- Managing vehicle purchase and sales administration from start to finish
- Processing VicRoads vehicle transfers and registrations
- Preparing and maintaining vehicle documentation
- Managing vehicle stock records and ensuring information is accurate
- Processing invoices, bills and payments
- Xero bookkeeping and bank reconciliations
- Accounts payable and receivable administration
- Reconciling vehicle purchases and sales
- Coordinating documentation relating to vehicle purchases and trade-ins
- Liaising with customers, suppliers, finance providers and other external parties
About you
- Previous experience in the automotive industry – essential
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- An understanding of vehicle purchasing, sales and trade-ins
- Experience with VicRoads transfers and vehicle documentation
- Strong computer and data-entry skills
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of your responsibilities
- A proactive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile
