The Role

As an Automotive Electrician, you'll play a key role in keeping heavy mining equipment operating safely and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

- Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on heavy mobile plant equipment
- Carrying out breakdown repairs,



installations and preventative maintenance
- Performing inspections and troubleshooting across a variety of OEM machines
- Delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining a strong safety focus
- Working collaboratively with site teams to minimise downtime and maximise productivity

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology (essential)
- Certificate of Proficiency or willingness to obtain
- Air Conditioning (AC) Ticket highly regarded
- Strong diagnostic and electrical fault-finding skills
- Experience working on OEM mining or heavy mobile equipment
- Minimum 3+ years' post-trade experience (mining experience advantageous)
- A proactive, reliable and safety-focused approach to work
- Current Australian working rights
