The opportunity /n

Be the difference in aged care, with the opportunity to work Part- time at our Mt Warrigal home. In this position you will havethe opportunity to bring your skills and knowledge to provide wellpresented, nutritional meals for our residents, creating a goodfood and dining experience.

Developing your growth within theindustry you will manage all aspects of the catering and foodproduction including supervision of catering staff.

The requirements /n

/n

- Part time – 2 month Contract of 24hrs per week – requiredroster:/n

/n

- Week 1 – on Monday, Wednesday, Saturdayand Sunday

/n

- Week on Monday and Wednesday

/n

/n

- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or similar

/n

- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate

/n

- Extensive cooking experience in a commercialenvironment

/n

- Demonstrated experience in the preparation of bulkcooking.

/n

- Experience in ordering stock within budgetguidelines.

/n

- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal withdemonstrated interpersonal skills and empathy with olderpeople.

/n

- Demonstrated organisational skills and meetingdeadlines.

/n





- Demonstrated ability to direct and supervise the work ofothers.

/n

- An understanding of andan abilityto deal with Work Health and Safety issues.

/n

- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinedteam.

/n

- Commitment to workplace equity issues.

/n

- Ensure the food service complies with the requirements ofthe NSW Food Authority

/n

- First aid certificate

/n

- Previous experience in the Aged Care Industry and/orrelated services

/n

/n
