MYTOOTHDOCTOR is looking for an associate dentist who wants more than simply somewhere to work.

We are a well-established Townsville practice with strong patient demand and an experienced team. Our principal dentist, Dr Garret Robles, is a general dentist with postgraduate training and clinical teaching experience in paediatric dentistry, with a particular interest in treating young, anxious and additional-needs children.

Demand for Garret's time now exceeds the hours he wants to work, which is why we're looking for another capable dentist to join us.

This isn't a role where you'll be sitting around waiting for a book to build.

n

There is an existing patient base and plenty of opportunity for the right dentist to develop a busy and rewarding clinical week.

We'd particularly suit someone who is:

- clinically curious and keen to keep improving

- comfortable taking responsibility for their patients

- confident communicating treatment recommendations and fees
n
- open to feedback and learning
n
- interested in developing their skills alongside an experienced clinician

- looking for somewhere they can potentially stay and grow for the longer term

You'll have the opportunity to work with a broad range of patients while being exposed to more complex paediatric cases, hospital dentistry and treatment under general anaesthetic.

Just as importantly, you'll be joining a practice where you won't be expected to figure everything out alone. Garret enjoys teaching and mentoring, and there is genuine clinical experience around you to draw upon.

We're flexible about the exact shape of the role for the right person. For someone looking for a longer-term home, we're also open to discussing how the opportunity could evolve over time.

Townsville offers a very different lifestyle from the major cities. Less commuting, a lower cost of living and easy access to North Queensland, but we know relocating is a big decision.
