The Opportunity /n
We’re seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to join our passionate team at the Gold Coast Community Vet Clinic on a casual basis. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service to our clients and their animals, while supporting our veterinary team in delivering the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities /n
/n
- Answer incoming calls and provide accurate information with professionalism and empathy.
/n
- Manage face-to-face client interactions and coordinate appointment scheduling.
/n
- Facilitate patient admissions and discharges efficiently and with care.
/n
- Prepare invoices, process payments, and reconcile daily registers.
/n
- Maintain accurate client and patient records and assist with general administrative duties.
/n
- Restock and manage merchandise in the waiting area.
/n
- Open and close the reception area, ensuring a tidy and welcoming environment.
/n
- Address client enquiries and resolve issues in line with AWLQ policies and procedures.
/n
- Comply with all WHS and infection control standards.
/n
Essential Skills And Attributes /n
/n
- Current Driver’s Licence.
/n
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in administrative or reception roles within a high-volume customer service environment.
/n
- Intermediate Microsoft Office and IT systems skills.
/n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage client concerns.
/n
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise effectively.
/n
- Demonstrated affinity with animals and compassion for clients and their pets.
/n
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
/n
