Thisroleissuitedtoanexperiencedcareprofessionalwhounderstandstheimportanceofconsistency,trust,communication,andpersonalisedsupport.Thesuccessfulapplicantwillplayakeyroleinhelpingayoungparticipantdevelopconfidence,independence,andpositivedailyroutinesthroughreliableandstructuredassistance.

Thepositionincludesdaysupportandafter-schoolshiftsinNewSouthWales,Australia.Sponsorshipisavailableforeligiblecandidateswhodemonstratetherightexperience,capability,andcommitmenttoperson-centredcare.

The Prospect

Thisroleissuitedtoanexperiencedcareprofessionalwhounderstandstheimportanceofconsistency,trust,communication,andpersonalisedsupport.Thesuccessfulapplicantwillplayakeyroleinhelpingayoungparticipantdevelopconfidence,independence,andpositivedailyroutinesthroughreliableandstructuredassistance.

Thepositionincludesdaysupportandafter-schoolshiftsinNewSouthWales,Australia.Sponsorshipisavailableforeligiblecandidateswhodemonstratetherightexperience,capability,andcommitmenttoperson-centredcare.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliverpersonalisedsupporttailoredtotheparticipant’sindividualneedsandgoals
- Assistwithdailyactivities,routines,skilldevelopment,andcommunityparticipation
- SupportaparticipantwithAutismSpectrumDisorder,includingcommunicationchallenges




- Useeffectiveredirectionapproachesandpositivebehavioursupporttechniques
- FollowBehaviourSupportPlansandprovideconsistentcarestrategies
- Monitorbehaviours,identifysupportneeds,andrespondappropriately
- Encourageindependence,confidence,andengagementineverydayactivities
- Maintainprofessionalcommunicationwithfamilies,carers,andsupportteams
- Completerequireddocumentationandprovideaccuratesupportupdates
- Createasafe,respectful,andsupportiveenvironment

Requirements & Eligibility

- Minimum2years’experienceindisabilitysupport,agedcare,orarelatedsupportrole
- DemonstratedexperiencesupportingindividualswithAutismSpectrumDisorder(ASD)
- Experienceworkingwithparticipantswithlimitedverbalcommunicationandcomplexbehaviours
- AbilitytounderstandandimplementBehaviourSupportPlanseffectively
- StrongEnglishcommunicationskillswithconfidenceinwrittenandverbalcommunication
- Reliableandconsistentapproachtoongoingparticipantsupport
- Patient,empathetic,andcommittedtoimprovingqualityoflifeforothers
- Abilitytoworkindependentlywhilecontributingpositivelywithinasupportteam
- Relevantdisabilitysupportqualificationsorexperiencepreferred
