This role will be based in Grafton covering the North Coast precinct.

Key responsibilities

- This role is hybrid friendly meaning flexible work options may be available.

- Supports the delivery of road safety outcomes across the region through the investigation of safety issues, application of Safe System principles, and delivery of programs that provide community safety outcomes.
n
- Coordinate road safety reviews, applying a Safe System approach to identify risks and recommend evidence-based improvements.
n
- Provide clear and timely safety advice to external agencies, and community stakeholders to improve network performance and customer safety.

What you need

n

n
- Experience in undertaking safety assessments, crash investigations, and/or speed zone reviews, with ability to analyse and interpret technical data.
n
- Robust stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, with experience collaborating across councils, government agencies, and community groups.
n
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports, provide advice, and represent Transport in public forums.
