The Chance

AnexcitingopportunityisavailableforexperiencedBoilermakersandPipefitterstojoinaleadingengineeringandmaintenancecontractorinWesternAustralia.Workingacrossworkshopandsite-basedprojects,youwillbeinvolvedinstructural,mechanicalandpiping(SMP)fabrication,maintenanceandshutdownactivitieswithintheresourceandenergysectors.

Key Responsibilities

- Carryoutstructuralsteelfabricationandinstallation
- Fabricate,assembleandinstallindustrialpipingsystems
- Performweldingusingapprovedproceduresandindustrystandards
- Repairandmaintainpressurevessels,tanksandstructuralcomponents
- Interpretengineeringdrawingsandfabricationplans
- Completeworkshopfabricationandon-siteinstallationwork




- Participateinshutdownandmaintenanceprojects
- Inspectfabricatedcomponentstoensurequalitystandardsaremet
- Operatefabricationequipmentandpowertoolssafely
- Workinconfinedspacesandatheightswhenrequired
- Followworkplacehealthandsafetyproceduresatalltimes
- Workcollaborativelywithsupervisorsandprojectteams
- Maintainacleanandorganisedworkarea
- Completeprojectdocumentationandreportingasrequired

Requirements & Eligibility

- AustraliantradequalificationorrecognisedoverseasequivalentinBoilermakingorPipefitting
- Demonstratedexperienceinstructural,mechanicalandpipingfabrication
- Abilitytopass3Gor4GMMAWandFCAWweldingtests
- Previousexperienceworkingonindustrialorminingprojects
- CurrentWorkingatHeightscertification
- CurrentConfinedSpacecertification
- HighRiskWorkLicencewithEWPendorsement
- ConstructionWhiteCard
- Strongknowledgeofworkplacehealthandsafetypractices
- Abilitytoreadandinterprettechnicaldrawings
- Excellentteamworkandcommunicationskills
- Abilitytopassapre-employmentmedical,includingdrugandalcoholscreening
