Truck and Trailer driver - Tipper experience preferred
C Fulton is one of Melbourne’s leading Garden and Building Supplies companies, with more than 50 years of experience servicing landscapers, builders, trades and the general public across Melbourne.
Due to our workload, we are looking for an experienced HC Truck & Trailer Driver to join our team.
This is a full-time position with plenty of work available for the right person.
The Role
The primary role is operating a truck and trailer tipper, collecting bulk landscape and building materials from quarries and suppliers and delivering them to our yards across Melbourne.
Your duties will include:
- Operating an HC truck and trailer tipper
- Collecting bulk materials from quarries and suppliers
- Filling and replenishing stock at C Fulton yards
- Delivering bulk materials across our branch network
- Completing daily vehicle checks
- Keeping your truck clean and well maintained
- Working safely and efficiently at quarries, yards and on the road
- Communicating with our operations team throughout the day
Early starts are a normal part of the role, particularly when collecting from quarries.
About You
To be considered, you must:
- Hold a current HC licence
- Have proven heavy vehicle driving experience
- Have a strong and safe driving record
- Be reliable and punctual
- Be comfortable with early starts
- Be able to work independently and manage your daily workload
- Take pride in your truck and equipment
- Have a strong work ethic and be prepared to work
Truck and trailer tipper experience is strongly preferred.
Experience working with quarries, bulk materials, garden supplies, aggregates, sand or similar products would also be highly regarded.
