About You

As a Timber and Construction Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. Our Technologies and VET Department is a high-performing faculty, regularly achieving outstanding results in Design and Technology, Industrial Technology; Timber and Multimedia, and Food Technology. With updated machinery and workshops, and FESTOOL, laser-cutter,



3D printers and state of the art Hospitality and Construction facilities. You'll bring:

- a commitment to the Catholic ethos of the College, the Catholic Church and the wellbeing of all community members
- expertise in Technologies; Timber, with additional teaching area in Construction (willingness to train) advantageous
- demonstrated knowledge and understanding of contemporary pedagogical practices
- ability to create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
- a commitment to academic excellence
- ability to utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
- a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
- demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
- ability to integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences
- interpersonal skills with parents, students and staff
- demonstrated ability to work in a cooperative team.
