Mechanical Fitter | Paraburdoo, WA | 2:1 Roster | Approx. $76/hr

We are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our client's team in Paraburdoo, WA on a 2:1 roster.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Fitter looking for ongoing FIFO work, competitive rates and a solid roster.

THE ROLE
You will be responsible for carrying out mechanical maintenance, repairs and servicing across site equipment, ensuring machinery remains safe, reliable and operational.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform preventative and breakdown mechanical maintenance
- Carry out inspections, repairs and servicing of mining equipment
- Fault-find and diagnose mechanical issues
- Complete mechanical installations, repairs and component change-outs
- Read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
- Work safely and efficiently in line with site procedures
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and housekeeping




- Work collaboratively with maintenance and site teams

ABOUT YOU
To be successful, you will have:

- Australian-recognised Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
- Previous experience in a mining, heavy industry or processing environment
- Strong mechanical maintenance and fault-finding skills
- Experience working with fixed plant/heavy equipment
- Solid commitment to safety
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
- Relevant mining tickets and site experience highly regarded
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
