We are currently recruiting for a Room Leader / Diploma Educator to join a quality early learning service located near Blacktown.

This is a fantastic chance for an experienced Diploma-qualified educator who is looking for a permanent part-time position while still having the opportunity to take ownership of a room, lead programming and contribute to a positive team culture.

You will work Monday- Friday, completing 8-hour shifts across a rotational roster. The service is looking for an educator who is confident leading a room, passionate about children's learning and development, and enjoys working collaboratively within a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Take responsibility for the day-to-day operation and leadership of your allocated room
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Lead and implement a high-quality educational program aligned with the EYLF, NQS and service philosophy
- Plan, document and evaluate children's learning and development
- Create engaging learning environments that support children's individual interests,



strengths and needs
- Mentor and support educators within the room
- Maintain strong communication with families and the wider team
- Ensure the room operates in line with relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive and collaborative team culture
- Support the wider service as required and demonstrate a proactive “jump in and get things done” attitude

What You’ll Need

- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved)
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
- Previous experience working as a Room Leader or in a senior educator capacity
- Strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS
- Experience with programming, planning and documenting children's learning
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to confidently lead a room and support other educators
- A genuine passion for early childhood education
- Reliable, proactive and team-oriented approach
