About the Role

At MaxiPARTS, we’re looking for an experienced and commercially minded Senior Supply Operations Lead to join our team.

This is a newly created role which is a broad, hands-on role working across supply, purchasing, logistics and inventory. Working closely with the Supply Manager, you’ll play an important role in keeping day-to-day supply operations running effectively, identifying emerging risks and issues, analysing performance and helping drive practical solutions across the business.

What You’ll Do





You’ll have visibility across our supply function and provide both operational support and analytical insight to help improve supply chain performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing day-to-day operational oversight and support across supply activities
- Identifying, investigating and resolving complex supply issues, escalating where appropriate
- Analysing supply, purchasing, logistics and inventory performance to identify trends, risks and opportunities
- Preparing accurate and meaningful reporting to support operational and commercial decision-making
- Monitoring supplier and logistics performance against agreed service expectations
- Identifying potential supply risks and coordinating appropriate action to minimise business impact
- Assessing operational issues across cost, service, inventory, risk and broader business impact
- Providing commercially sound recommendations and decision support to the Supply Manager
- Coordinating supply-related matters with internal stakeholders and helping resolve cross-functional issues
- Supporting broader operational and strategic supply projects
- Providing operational continuity and oversight when the Supply Manager is unavailable

Skills And Experiences

About You

We’re looking for someone who combines strong supply chain knowledge with analytical capability and practical problem-solving skills.

You’ll ideally bring:

- Experience across supply chain, procurement, purchasing, logistics, inventory or a related operational environment




- Experience working across multiple areas of a supply chain function rather than exclusively within one specialist discipline
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret operational data
- Experience working with ERP systems, with exposure to systems such as Momentum Pro or MYOB advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to prioritise competing demands and work effectively within tight timeframes
- Confidence working independently, using sound judgement and taking ownership of operational issues
- Experience within the heavy vehicle, warehousing, distribution or broader supply chain setting
- A relevant qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant industry experience

You’ll be proactive rather than reactive. You’ll be comfortable getting into the detail when required but also able to step back, identify what the data is telling you and understand the wider commercial impact.

You’ll build effective working relationships across the business, take ownership of issues through to resolution and know when something genuinely requires escalation.

Most importantly, you’ll bring a practical, solutions-focused approach and be comfortable operating in an environment where priorities can change quickly.
